Meet some of the "Miles For Good" Bears.

These bears and elephants, when all parts are complete, will represent just over a mile of yarn. They will be sewn up and stuffed with flame retardant stuffing when the 2 miles of yarn target has been knitted. The eyes will either be safety eyes or buttons that have been tightly quadruple sewn for safety. They'll also have scarves or bow ties to wear. I'll keep updating the photos as I go. (The next mile of bears will be in a different post.)

The large bears are approximately 50cm, the small bears approximately 37cm and the elephants approximately 39cm - each depending on the wool used.

I will sell to the highest offer, but not below £20 for the large bears, and £15 for the small bears and elephants. Remember - this is for Home for Good, so higher bids would be greatly appreciated!

You'll see that two of the bears are commissions - and after the two miles has been knitted, I may consider other commissions - proceeds still going to Home for Good.

This is Gabriel Bear (Named by the Home for Good team after a vote!) The wool is a lovely emerald green (Deeper than the photo shows) with sparkly green flecks. It is the smallest bear. He has a very sweet face, and is now adorning the Home for Good office space!

I have more of this wool available if you would like one in this colour - just let me know.

Bosley: Dark blue with glitter and minty green paws/feet. He will have matching eyes when he's all sewn up! This is one of the bigger bears (50 cm head to toe).

Eric: A khaki green elephant knitted in a very soft, slightly fluffy wool.

Goldilocks: The picture doesn't do justice to the metallic gold wool this bear is knitted in. She has brown eyes and cream paws/feet. She is one of the smaller bears.

Brandon: Burgundy with flecks of glitter. He has cream paws/feet, with eye colour yet to be chosen. A small bear.

Etta: Minty green and knitted with a soft and thick wool.

This will be Pippa bear - she has been specially commissioned along with a brother - Orlan, who will be orange. She is a large bear.

OK - so you can't see what this is! It will be a "Yeti Bear"... just the body and one arm knitted so far, with the paw in purple. Because this yarn is so slow to knit, it won't be in the 2 miles of yarn challenge, but will be completed after. If it works and looks good I will sell it, but because of the amount of work involved I won't sell for less than £30. If you commission one of these - an offer of more than £30 for Home for Good would be appreciated.
